Jason Shaw, president of the Southern Tier Land Conservancy, recently met with members of the Owego Rotary Club at the Canawanna Nature Preserve.
During the visit, Shaw shared a new map showing recently acquired property that will become part of the preserve.
The additional acreage will expand the protected lands at Canawanna and further the Southern Tier Land Conservancy’s efforts to preserve natural areas for the community and future generations.
