Rotary International established the Paul Harris Fellowship (Paul Harris Fellow recognition | Rotary International) in 1957 to encourage and to recognize individuals who make substantial contributions to the Rotary Foundation. Each year the Owego Club makes a donation to the Foundation in recognition of a local individual who has provided outstanding service to the community. Each Owego Paul Harris Fellow is honored at a dinner and receives a certificate of recognition and a medallion.
